T40 Summit (1986), a luxurious and elegant 2+2 coupe propelled by a 4 litre engine with an experimental Overboost system.
The vehicle is a luxiorious and classic 4-seater coupe built in 1988. The engine is a novel 3.3 litres 5 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine made by VM, the first to be fitted with an overboost system. It is affectionately called “Summit” because it is the technical and aestetic evolution of a first protoype (the Covini T46 of 1979 equipped with a 6 cylinder 3600cc, first example of a sport Diesel car), optimised in mechanics and body.
